Position Summary

The Senior Retail Consultant will work with client staff and end-users to determine the functional requirements for the system within the SAP Retail and Fashion module. The Retail Consultant will be involved in running workshops, creating detailed systems documentation, configuration and creating and executing test scripts. The Retail Consultant would assist in leveraging business and technical expertise to address technology architecture, solution design, data analysis, business modeling, technical design, application development, integration, and enablement. The role also involves managing and overseeing the design and development of customized reports, utilizing ABAP technical resources and other tools within SAP

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in SAP Retail and Fashion working in multiple implementations with at least 2 full-life cycle projects delivering new solutions
  • 5 years of experience as functional consultant in Retail and Merchandising business process improvement initiatives or SAP Retail and Fashion information systems implementations
  • Hands-on experience with: S/4 Retail and/or Fashion, IS-Retail, and/or Fashion (AFS / FMS).  Expertise in 3 or more of the following: Procurement, Merchandising, Retail Master Data (including Article Master and related hierarchies, Business Partners, Site Master), Pricing and Promotion, Replenishment, Allocations, POS Outbound and Inbound, CAR
  • Strong understanding of SAP Activate or use of Agile in SAP system implementations
  • Flexibility and adaptability - our Consultants work on everything from design to hands-on configuration and can stretch into new roles
  • Experience implementing SAP in the Fashion, CPG or Retail industries as either a client, a consultant, or both
  • Experience configuring the SAP Retail and Fashion system to meet the business requirements and conducting solution fit-to-standard and gap resolving workshops with business managers.
  • Deep Experience in designing a Solution fit for purpose.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing engagements and project plans/tasks
  • Excellent team building, mentoring, and leadership abilities
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to present and write at publication quality level to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Experience in pre-sales solutioning, scoping and estimating a strong plus
  • Achievement oriented and entrepreneurial
