Artificial intelligence (AI) is radically transforming the way retailers interact with their customers. Recent advances in AI have significantly improved the accuracy of facial recognition technology which is a powerful tool for in-store personalization. An AI enabled facial recognition system helps retailers to understand their customers better and to deliver greater customer experiences.
In this talk we explain how to design an AI enabled facial recognition system using deep learning, a technology of AI that has recently created significant breakthroughs in the field of computer vision and image processing. We explain the concepts of deep learning, the architecture of a deep learning based facial recognition system and how a facial recognition system may be deployed to improve customer experiences in a retail store.
