Ian Mechie

Ian Mechie, the co-founder of Absoft since 1991, has been instrumental in driving the company's remarkable growth and shaping its strategic direction. With over three decades of experience in the IT industry, Ian has primarily worked as a consultant, specializing in implementing SAP solutions for clients. His journey with SAP began in 1992 with the release of R/3, marking the start of his deep involvement in this transformative field. Known for his innovative leadership, Ian has kept Absoft at the forefront of SAP technology and practices. Ian remains deeply involved in SAP's evolving product portfolio as a Lead Solution Architect, reflecting his enduring passion for SAP technology. Outside of work, Ian is a dedicated member of the Tartan Army, and enjoys playing golf.
